Nigeran music rising star Stanley Omah Didia, popularly known as Omah Lay, has released the much anticipated visuals for his latest song ‘Understand‘.
Omah Lay, who rose to prominence in 2020, displayed his accolades-worthy work ethic by releasing two projects in that same year, while also bagging the Headies Award for the chart topping releases. The talented singer/songwriter who also doubles as a record producer, recently dropped his first single of the year, ‘Understand‘ on the 8th of July 2021, a mid-tempo groovy afro-fusion tune produced by talented Nigerian producer Tempoe.
To follow up the tune, he has released the official video for ‘Understand’ today, the 29th of July 2021. Directed by Nigerian cinematographer Top Shotta, the video was dominantly shot in the slums of Lagos showcasing both it’s beauty and lifestyle, giving a contrast between the life of the everyday ghetto bred and an accomplished version of that same ghetto bred. Brilliant job!
