Following a successful U.S. tour with his dad Femi and Positive Force, Mádé Kuti, the grandson of Fela Anikulapo Kuti, is really serving the fans with some good treats. He’ll be releasing a number of songs over the remainder of 2022, beginning with this one: “No More Wars.”
Complete emotional control is the central idea of “No More Wars.” It focuses more on the singer’s experiences and the lessons he took away from them. The song instructs listeners how to learn to think things through and carefully before acting violently.
In the very words of Mádé Kuti, he explained “The lyrics are inspired by my father’s consistency in following his path despite dealing with an overwhelming amount of harsh, untrue, and deliberately cruel people inside and outside of his circle.”
