Barely three weeks after Mozambican entertainer, Dj Tarico released the remix to his super viral Amapiano hit song currently taking over the clubs and airwaves in Africa right now, ‘Yaba Buluku’ featuring Grammy award winning Burna Boy alongside Preck and Nelson Tivane, he is back again to crown it all up with the official video of the massive hit record.
The Amapiano sound as we all know is a super contagious one, and has speedily made it’s way into the hearts of music lovers all over Africa and other continents, with it’s uniquely patterned style of instrumentals and eye-catching dance moves.
‘Yaba Buluku‘ produced by Dj Tarico himself, is the second Amapiano hit record to break it’s way into country in the year 2021, after Focalistic‘s Ke Star Remix with Davido back in February. This is a great feat for African music as a whole. Having Pan-African collaborations like these, is a good why to introduce the audience to new varieties of musical styles and cultures.
The video, directed by The Aliens, is a pretty energetic and funky one. With lots of intense dance moves from different group of dancers in what seemed to be a dance battle in a jivey night scene.
Burna Boy infused his Nigerian Afrobeats flavor to the song along with resounding hype-like backups by Viral dance sensation Poco Lee, who also had a cameo appearance the video and can be seen displaying his impressive dance moves.
