Adekunle Gold releases his highly anticipated sixth studio album, “Fuji,” a 15-track project that marks a powerful return to his Nigerian roots and musical heritage. The album is described by Adekunle Gold as his most honest work, reflecting a deeply personal journey through grief, joy, fatherhood, and self-discovery.

It features a blend of traditional Yoruba sounds, such as Fuji, Apala, and Tungba, alongside contemporary Afropop and R&B influences, showcasing the Lagos sound that gave birth to modern Afrobeats.
“Fuji” is more than just an album title; it stands for “Finding Uncharted Journeys Inside.” Adekunle Gold, a descendant of the Kosoko royal family, invites listeners to experience the full 40-minute project in its intended sequence from start to finish, as it narrates his life’s highs and lows, including the loss of his father and the joy of welcoming his daughter.
The album follows his 2023 release, “Tequila Ever After,” and features singles such as “Obimo,” “Coco Money,” “Bobo” (featuring Lojay and Shoday), and “Believe.” This album solidifies Adekunle Gold’s status as a versatile artist who continues to evolve while honoring the sounds that shaped him.
