YBNL’s new signee Ahmed Ololade, popularly known as Asake who’s single ‘Omo Ope‘ is currently dominating the airwaves has come through with his debut extended play titled ‘Ololade‘, a project he named after himself.
The Afro-fusion singer’s debut EP was released on Wednesday, February 16, 2022 and has since skyrocketed within hours to the number one album spot on Nigeria’s Apple Music Chart. The EP ‘Ololade‘ houses a number of four tracks, including his hit single that features Olamide, and the body of work has the production imprint of buzzing Nigerian beatmakers Nipkeys and Magicsticks.
As a great follow up strategy for the newly released EP, the singer has released the official video for his smash tune ‘Omo ope‘ which features Olamide, the song record is produced by his frequent collaborator Magic Sticks, and serves as Asake‘s debut single and visual for 2022.
The pristine and colourful official visual for the song was directed by sensational Nigerian cinematographer Asher Kine for “Made by the Kine presentation“.
