Afrobeats Superstar “Rema” kicks off the year with 2-pack single titled “Holiday” & “Reason You” and as you know it is “Another banger!“. This comes off a very successful year 2022 which saw the release of his debut album “Rave & Roses“. This birthed his global hit track “Calm Down” which dominated worldwide charts and created a trend that further placed Afrobeats on the world map.
“Holiday” is produced by Blaise Beatz and the storytelling on this one talks about Rema’s journey to the top. Despite having so much doubters, Rema made it a mission to be successful against all odds and from 2019 till date, his music has been making waves and history.
“Reason You” was co-produced by Alex Rustig, 80Root and LNKmusic. This track takes a different direction from “Holiday” as Rema was in his lover boy bag on this one. The Mavin Records/Jonzing World signee has a good history of releasing love-themed songs. His viral hit track “Calm Down” similarly takes same direction and further points to Rema’s intentionality about his love life.
