Two weeks after the release of the smash Amapiano-infused record, Afrobeats singer, songwriter and recording act Ayoleyi Hanniel Solomon , popularly known as Reekado Banks, has released the video for his smashing tune titled “Ozumba Mbadiwe“
The video, directed by talented Nigerian cinematographer, DK for Priorgold Pictures showcases Banks taking viewers on a cruise around Lagos, displaying eye catching sceneries and impressive cinematography. It referenced the #ENDSARS movement, which was a resistance protest against police brutality, injustice, corruption, and many of the ills in Nigeria. Unfortunately, it was met with a massacre orchestrated by the government at the Lekki Toll Gate on October 20, 2020, a venue very close to the actual Ozumba Mbadiwe Way Lekki, Lagos Nigeria.
Ozumba Mbadiwe is the lead single off Reekado Banks’ latest EP “Off The Record Vol.2′, And was produced by buzzing hit-making music producer P. Prime.
