Award winning Nigerian singer/songwriter Reekado Banks has released a second instalment of his ‘Off The Record‘ extended play. It is a solo project that consists of 5 mellifluous songs.
While fans are still basking in the goodness of his Amapiano-infused smash single ‘Ozumba Mbadiwe‘, Reekado Banks has just served us up with an additional four infectious songs to make up ”Off The Record Vol.2“.
The song “Pulling Up” opens up the project, and only serves as a pathway to more captivating tunes. On “Ozumba Mbadiwe”, Reekado Banks is reflective, conscious and groovy. Applying an enlivened touch to Afrobeats rhythms, the singer displayed his superb lyrical prowess and sensuality on “Lupita Nyongo” and “Selection”.
The album is an amazing body of work and a potential multi-award winner for the former Mavin Records star. It boasts of production credits from the likes of P. Prime, Marv, Ola Gold, Big, Jesse Sokari, George, and Biggie Jazzy.
