The unique collaboration between Nigerian rap sensation PsychoYP and 22-year-old singer, songwriter, producer, and “boy wonder” Azanti is what makes “Naija Funk” so successful. The track picks up speed with an earthy beat as soon as Azanti admits, “I should’ve done you better.” PsychoYP counters with tight and gritted rhymes over an Afrobeats beat. Amidst a professional photo shoot, the visualizer highlights their back-and-forth performance. It’s the ideal preamble to YP & Azanti, Vol. 2.
