With time as it’s central theme, we find the artist reflecting on his journey thus far and looking toward a promising future. The album is the result of years of writing and recording, working with others, and performing.
The talented Obongjayar dropped a brand-new music video for the tune “New Man” which was shot in Lagos, Nigeria and directed by Chukwuka Nwobi to coincide with the release of his album.
While singing of self-discovery and rebirth as the camera switches between sweeping panoramas and intimate close-ups, Obongjayar can be seen projecting a combative aura while performing on roofs and in the shadowy nooks of the country where he spent his formative years.
