Grammy-nominated multi-instrumentalist Mádé Kuti releases his uplifting new single “Wait & See”. The song arrives four weeks before sophomore standalone album, “Chapter 1: Where Does Happiness Come From?”, out 25 July 2025.
“Wait & See” joins earlier single “Life As We Know It,” building anticipation for Chapter 1: Where Does Happiness Come From?. The 13-track album fuses Afrobeat with jazz, psychedelia, and rock, and features songs such as “You Can’t Hide,” “Oya,” and “My Voice.” LegacyPlus will release the project on streaming, CD, and limited-edition vinyl.
Fans can experience the new material live when Kuti and his eight-piece band The Movement headline Buri Brewery, Lagos, on 21 June ahead of the album launch.
