On her new track and video ‘Wanted’, available via In.Digg.Nation Collective/Six Course Music/RCA Records, the soulful Jamaican musician Lila Iké issues a socially aware warning. Jason “J-Vibe” Farmer and Protoje produced the track.
‘Wanted ‘ is a story of a young man who is caught up in a life of crime. Lila Iké and the film’s co-star take center stage in a dramatic performance in the video directed by Yannick Reid.
Lila plays an ubiquitous role who recounts the desired man’s crimes, but she, too, is a victim of his crimes. The song and video are dramatic expressions of the awful reality that Lila Iké depicts in all corners of the globe.
