Four time Grammy award winning superstar Ed Sheeran, released a new drill remix of his Number 1 single ‘Bad Habits’, featuring Tion Wayne, Central Cee and and Fumez The Engineer. The new version of the current chart topper, which has sat atop the Official Singles Chart for the past six weeks, was released today (August 12). The news was announced by Tion Wayne on his socials along with a video of the trio in the studio.
Dance remixes of Bad Habits have been released in recent weeks from the likes of Joel Corry, Meduza and Jubel. Bad Habits became Ed Sheeran’s 10th Official UK number 1 single on release in June, making him the ninth act to claim 10 or more UK toppers. Ed isn’t new to the Drill genre, as he’s got the chart topping “Take Me Back To London” track with Stormzy and a couple of others.
Ed wrote on instagram; “I’ve been a huge fan of what @tionwayne @centralcee and @fumeztheengineer do for a while now, I loved creating this new version with them in the studio, and just as a fan, get a buzz out of them all being on the same tune together.”
Featured artistes Tion Wayne and Central Cee are also no strangers to chart success. Wayne claimed the first ever Drill Genre number 1 single in May with Russ Millions collaboration ‘Body‘, while Central Cee‘s ‘Wild West‘ mixtape peaked at Number 2 on the Official Albums Chart In March.
