Davido Music Worldwide’s first ever female signee, Abdulsalam Suliyat Modasola, popularly known as Liya, has released her very first EP and she calls this one ‘Alari ‘.
The album ‘Alari’, which is a Yoruba word that translates as “Stand out“, sees the singer display her vocal dexterity and proves her musical abilities over six tracks which stems from her Yoruba cultural heritage and background.
The body of work only accommodates one feature, and that happens to be Afrobeats superstar and DMW label boss Davido on the second track titled ‘Lakiribito‘. Liya made her presence felt on every single track with her uniquely smooth vocals. With this project in her corner, it’s safe to say she has come to stay.
