Toronto based Nigerian acts DJ Jism and D.O.A have joined forces on a new song titled “Monte Carlo”.
The Afro-lounge single is one with a chill vibe and calming lyrics. The use of luxurious lyrics would have listeners in a feeling of elation regardless of their reality.
As seen on DJ Jism’s debut project which features artists like Lady Donli, A.Beeb and D1WAV. The Afrobeat talent has again delivered an Afro – lounge delicacy. “It comes from a dream about being on top of the world” Bringing us into “the world we imagine for ourselves”, the Afro – lounge invited us to “enjoy the high life and elegance as young Africans” according to DJ Jism.
Continuing on an upward trend, DJ Jism & D.O.A have served us with a chill vibe for the summer with the Monte Carlo single. The luxurious lyrics employed would definitely have listeners feeling calm and stress free. The atmospheric beats radiates an uplifting aura through its pristine groove.
D.O.A was introduced to the single with a high pitched exciting sound. From all indications, these two have been able to create a unique and radio friendly single. Speaking on his collaboration with D.O.A he revealed that the hook was originally crafted for “Dede”, the lead single off his 2021 EP, but to our delight he made a different decision.
When asked about more collaborations, if this was the beginning of something bigger, DJ Jism kept his cards close. “We’re having fun so there should be more on the way”.
