Nigerian Afrobeats superstar Davido has dropped the video for his 2020 single “Shopping Spree” featuring American music superstars Young Thug and Chris Brown off his 2020 album ”A Better Time”.
A brilliantly directed music video by Des Gray, which starts off with a college scene showing Davido interacting with a lady in the college hallway in what seems to be him wooing and trying to impress her with his moves and charisma.
Followed by a scene of Young Thug portrayed as an artist, captured painting a portrait of a lady sited and fully decorated with pretty yellow flowers.
Chris Brown‘s verse chimes in and the singer can be seen singing his heart out and delivering some minor dance moves while sited in an empty hall surrounded by vacant chairs.
The video for ‘Shopping Spree‘ ends with what appears to be a night party scene and all three artistes are seen on stage in good spirits, dancing and serenading the crowd with their performance.
This isn’t the first collaboration from the three artists, as Davido had previously collaborated with Young Thug on the song “Pere” alongside Rae Sremmurd back in 2017, and with Chris Brown on the hit song ‘Blow my mind‘ off his 2019 album ”A Good Time”, with Davido also going ahead to feature on the song ‘Lower Body‘ off the deluxe version of Chris’s album Indigo, also in the year 2019.
