Darkoo continues her amazing run of exciting singles with the release of “Like Dat“. Darkoo has gained so much praise in the past year with the release of smash hits but she wants more. This includes “Favorite Girl“, “Focus On Me (All The Sexy Girls In The Club)” and now with the latest being “Like Dat.
Darkoo is on a journey to redefine originality as she continues to reference all time classics across various genres. With the biggest influence being 90s & early 2010s Pop music. On her previous single “Focus On Me“, she sampled P-Square’s “Gimme Dat” and she recreated the visuals for P-Square’s “Do Me“. She sampled Jamaican producer Lenky’s “Diwali Riddim (XM24)” on “Favorite Girl“, the same riddim used in “Love Is Wicked” by Brick & Lace.
“Like Dat“, a perfect summer banger produced by Sparbz., Enzo & French. Darkoo has wasted no time to release the visuals which has received a lot of positive compliments for its colorful & simplistic set design. Sam Fallover directed the video.
In anticipation of her debut album, Darkoo has more music coming. This includes her feature on the Formula 1 “F1 The Movie” Soundtrack project. She represents Nigeria & Africa alongside Burna Boy, Mr Eazi & Obongjayar on the star-studded project.
