4x Grammy Award winning reggae artist, Damian Marley has just released a visualizer for his latest releast – My Sweet Lord.
The track is a Reggae interpretation of George Harrison’s timeless classic My Sweet Lord. The ex-Beatles member’s original song, from his third studio album, All Things Must Pass, made its debut in 1970. It swiftly soared to No. 1 on both the US Billboard Hot 100 and the UK Singles Chart, and topped the charts in over a dozen other countries.
Jr. Gong adds his unique reggae style and soulful sounds to give the track a new feel. Damian further states that he chose to cover My Sweet Lord because of its timeless message and its relevance to the current state of the world.
Worthy to note, that this is Damian Marley’s first single since he released “Life is a Circle” in 2020. However he has been busy with other endeavours; recently claiming a Grammy Award in 2023 as executive producer of Kabaka Pyramid’s “The Kalling”.
