Chike has released his highly anticipated album, “Son of Chike,” on July 19, 2024, marking a significant return to the music scene two years after his last album, “The Brother’s Keeper.” This also marks his third album in the music scene.
This new project, produced mostly by his longtime collaborator DeeYasso, showcases Chike’s growth as an artist while celebrating his heritage and identity as his father’s son.
The album features 12 tracks that delve into themes of self-discovery, love, resilience, and cultural pride. Notable artists such as Olamide, Qing Madi, Ladipoe, Amaeya, and the late Mohbad collaborate on the album, with Mohbad’s influence evident in the lead single “Egwu.”
“Son of Chike” showcases Chike’s artistry with evocative storytelling and rich musical arrangements, promising to resonate with listeners in Nigeria and beyond.
