Asake has released his first single of the year 2023 titled “Yoga“. This follows an eventful year (2022) packed with back to back hits. Asake dominated the airwaves both home and abroad. There has been great clamor for him to be awarded as the “Artiste of the year“, 2022 and deservedly so.
Asake teams up with Magicsticks yet again and this is of little or no surprise given the success rate of this duo which is vividly evident in the quality of his debut album “Mr. Money With The Vibe.” This chemistry is one that brought a new life to Afrobeats and set trends in the music industry.
On “Yoga“, Asake lowers the tempo a bit to create a feel good track that talks about maintaining peace and enjoying the serenity that comes with staying off drama. The video is directed by the world renowned TG OMORI.
